From Husband & Wife to Mother & Father!...Also BATMAN!
This weekend just gone I have had the enormous pleasure of doing my first ever Newborn Photoshoot! It was great fun to do and I got some really lovely images of a brand new family. But this shoot was extra special, and to explain why I have to go back to 2017!
August 19th 2017 I shot one of my very first Weddings! I had no real portfolio or experience and barely had enough Camera Equipment to pull it off. I knew I loved Photography and wanted to make a career out of it but I wasn’t really certain that Weddings were my thing.
But Kat & Martin had absolute trust in me. So on the Weekend of August 19th we all drove up to the Mulberry Inn in Wales, stopping to visit some wonderful Welsh waterfalls on the way.
After an amazing, emotional and absolutely beautiful Wedding. I was sold. I wanted to do this every weekend for the rest of my life. Still to this day I think there’s no better job out there. Documenting one of the most important days in a couples lives is such enriching work.
Since that Wedding Kat and Martin have been such huge supporters of mine, their kind words and the praise they had for my photography gave me the confidence I needed to build up my own Wedding Photography Business. And so a few weeks ago almost 2 years since their wedding I was more than happy to oblige when they asked if I would photograph a set of maternity images for them!
Then at 10:26AM on the 27th August, 2 years and 8 days after they became Husband and Wife, Kat & Martin became a Mother and a Father!
Which brings us up to the present! Where I had the pleasure of Photographing their beautiful baby girl. And of course we continued the Batman motif. Im so happy to have had the opportunity to Photograph each of these important milestones in Kat & Martins lives and so amazingly grateful to have such a rewarding job.
